Special Event Photography | Pie FestivalKCRW Supervising Producer for Good Food gives a brief testimonial of her experience working with the photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography. KCRW is Southern California flagship station for National Public Radio in Southern California and is a pioneer among radio stations for the type and number of special live events that they produce for the benefit of the community. From concerts featuring the biggest name in the music industry to spoken word and festivals, the special events productions put on by the station are must-attend events in the Greater Los Angeles area. Because of their vast experience in special event coverage as well as stage photography for a variety of clients the photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography have been involved with a number of these events for well over a decade. Most recently, one of our photographers covered the radio station's annual pie contest where several thousand members of the greater Los Angeles Area come out, this time at the Fowler Museum on the campus of UCLA, to celebrate everything pie related. Photography Memory Book Created for Week Long Event in Long Beach, CA
Photography Memory Book Delivery Members of the Long Beach Host Town Committee for the Special Olympics World Games describe the photography memory books to be given to the delegation from China. The photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography have a great reputation in doing special event photography coverage for conferences and conventions in and around Long Beach, CA. When the City of Long Beach was chosen as a Host Town during the recent Special Olympics World Games, hosting the delegation from China with over 300 athletes and coaches and support staff, the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau turned to the photographers of Caught in the Moment to document all of the activities that were meticulously planned for the delegation. An added request by the organizers was that the photographs were delivered quickly so that they could be made available for press, but more importantly for the attendees, so that each member of the delegation could take home a personalized photography memory book as a memento of their time in Long Beach. The short video clip is from a few members of the organizing committee getting ready to deliver the books to the delegation knowing full well that the most recent activity documented in the book had taken place only a few hours before. It took a great effort to edit, the thousands of images, design the memory books, manage the process so that each member of the delegation had his or her image on the front cover of his/her book, and print over three hundred memory books during the overnight hours so that they could be delivered first think in the morning before the delegation left Long Beach.
