The photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography have been the exclusive photographers of Musical Theatre West for a number of years.  The photographers capture everything from the live stage productions, promotional photographs for the productions as well as special event photography coverage and fund raising events.  In this brief video testimonial the Executive director and producer takes a few seconds during one of the rehearsals to recommend the photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography for any photography needs.

Tina Thompson of Run With It Events is a meeting and special event planner in the Long Beach and the Greater Los Angeles Area.  She and her company have been working with the event photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography for a number of years providing her clients with imagery that can then be used to promote other upcoming special events.  Here she gives brief testimonial of her most recent experience working with our photographers.

KCRW is Southern California flagship station for National Public Radio in Southern California and is a pioneer among radio stations for the type and number of special live events that they produce for the benefit of the community.  From concerts featuring the biggest name in the music industry to spoken word and festivals, the special events productions put on by the station are must-attend events in the Greater Los Angeles area.  Because of their vast experience in special event coverage as well as stage photography for a variety of clients the photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography have been involved with a number of these events for well over a decade.  Most recently, one of our photographers covered the radio station's annual pie contest where several thousand members of the greater Los Angeles Area come out, this time at the Fowler Museum on the campus of UCLA, to celebrate everything pie related.

The photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography have a great reputation in doing special event photography coverage for conferences and conventions in and around Long Beach, CA.  When the City of Long Beach was chosen as a Host Town during the recent Special Olympics World Games, hosting the delegation from China with over 300 athletes and coaches and support staff, the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau turned to the photographers of Caught in the Moment to document all of the activities that were meticulously planned for the delegation.  An added request by the organizers was that the photographs were delivered quickly so that they could be made available for press, but more importantly for the attendees, so that each member of the delegation could take home a personalized photography memory book as a memento of their time in Long Beach.  The short video clip is from a few members of the organizing committee getting ready to deliver the books to the delegation knowing full well that the most recent activity documented in the book had taken place only a few hours before.  It took a great effort to edit, the thousands of images, design the memory books, manage the process so that each member of the delegation had his or her image on the front cover of his/her book, and print over three hundred memory books during the overnight hours so that they could be delivered first think in the morning before the delegation left Long Beach.

Caught in the Moment Photography has been the conference photographer for the Journal of Commerce's TPM conference in Long Beach for a number of years now.  Our photographers become an extension of their editorial staff, providing art for the multitude of articles that are written in many instances in real time. Florida Gators The athletes of the University of Florida Gators Golf Team pose for a photograph at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge

The Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge held at the Palos Verdes Golf Club each February is one of the first golf tournaments that we photograph every year.  This particular event is really a combination of golf tournaments; an NCAA sanctioned regional challenge involving student athletes from all over the country and a Collegiate Am golf tournament where amateur players from the community get the opportunity to play alongside with the student athletes.  Doing the photography coverage for this event is truly a pleasure and a privilege.

The above was taken with our green screen "photo booth." Although not technically a photo booth, the service and prints we provide are superior to most of the photo booth services.  We essentially bring on site our mobile portrait studio complete with studio lighting along with all the props to have photo booth style fun.  The advantage of having professional photographers setting up the photo booth is that we treat the green screen as we would treat any other backdrop but most importantly we take extra care to ensure that the subjects are well lit and the final photos live up to the standards that our portrait clients have come to expect from our award winning photography studio.

Three generations of the Little Family from Long Beach, CA will be featured on the cover of "Alamitos Bay Neighbors" a monthly magazine for the Naples and Peninsula Communities.  Caught in the Moment Photography has a great reputation in Southern California for providing outstanding imagery for many publications.  For this particular portrait session it gave us great pleasure to work quite literally a block away from our studio and in the process get to know some of our neighbors.

One of our theater clients in the Los Angeles, CA area scheduled a series of readings at local libraries to promote literacy and their musical theater production of Disney's© Beauty and the Beast.  For this client we provided both staged images like the one above and more candid images of the children listening in awe.

The American Student Dental Association holds an annual session for all its delegates from around the country each February.  Caught in the Moment Photography has been honored to be its official photographer for the last several years.  We cover all their events; we do the photography coverage of its congressional proceedings, photojournalistic coverage of their award ceremony, exhibit fair, and even provide professional head shots for their members.  We look forward to working with ASDA every year!

Last week we had the honor of making a portrait of the attendees of a prestigious oceanic and atmospheric conference at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.  This was such a fun portrait to arrange because it literally took days of planning; from scouting the best location to arranging with building maintenance for a scissor lift and chairs.

When the conference attendees emerged from their session, they were already thirty minutes behind schedule, and of course there was an event planned immediately following (which just so happened to be a boat tour,) so literally every second counted.

Our team worked seamlessly so that we had this portrait literally in under 3 minutes, from when the attendees emerged from the Aquarium to the making of the photograph.

We include it here because of the praise we received not only the day of the conference from the attendees, but also from the venue staff that recommended us to the conference organizers for the photography.

Last week we had the honor of sharing Michelle and Matt's most important day yet in their relationship by doing the wedding photography at the beautiful Wayfarers Chapel.  We enjoyed using our photojournalistic style to capture the candid photography, and our years of experience as preferred wedding photographers at the "glass chapel" ensured that the wedding ceremony photos were fabulous. When it came time to do the traditional wedding party portraits, we literally had the opportunity to make them creative and fantastic!

With what is billed as the event of the year in Long Beach, the “by invitation only" Blue Martini Ball, the Volunteer Center’s Team 100 members deliver non-perishable food to Title One elementary school children in LBUSD. The food is to be consumed over the weekend by these disadvantaged families.  Caught in the Moment Photography donated the candid photography for the event.
